Measurement

We were assessing our measuring skills yesterday and I wanted to share with you what a good job the kids did.  They remembered all the rules of measuring with non-standard units including:

- starting and ending at the edge of the object you are measuring
- picking non-standard units that are small enough
- picking non-standard units that are all the same size
- using the same units when measuring and comparing two or more objects
- not leaving gaps
- not leaving any spaces
